no where to run to...

there are a lot of things that i want to write about.
but i am just lost.
i don't exactly know where to start.
what to start...

i thought going back to hk for a visit would have done me good...
and it did, in many ways...

until i was walking around central...
and saw this guy wearing this tshirt
at IFC...

every where i went,
everything, somehow,
reminded me of you...

... you can run but you can't hide...

transmission of moods

what started as a great chill out day...

with ex college mates, for a fantastic, but just way too early in the late morning catch up at mdm kwan pavilion, with great coffee chit chat bitching ranting life work session, and a bid farewell to zoe's new adventure to singapore,

to an evening of delicious good company and food to celebrate jason's birthday together with friends, and later a really lovely coffee mixed with a bottle of sweet thick creamy milk that i just received earlier that afternoon from froggie (whom i forced to buy me that so ever yummie irish milk from the airport from his recent redouvouz trip somewhere in the world) served by a really great waitressing crew in the ever friendly restaurant somewhere i the middle of ampang and klcc (hock choon terrace), eventually left me emotional...

why...

why is it that every time when i least expect it, you will show up...
figuring that it would be safe to go out...
just avoid the clubs because i don't want to bump into you...
yet... in such a place, even if it is, your territory...
serendipity plays a real mean evil joke...
for allowing me to see you...

i wanted to say hi badly.
i wanted to just go over and hug you...
and tell you not to over work...
but i know it's not my place...
it was never my place...
will never be my place...

i hate you so much.
so much that i still love you.

if only love was fashion,
then this could be so last season,
sadly, it's a chanel,
timeless and classic,
everlasting.

Get A Chinese and Watch TV

it's a really beautiful tune...
but funny how they shorten the chinese food as just... "chinese"
LOLZ.
imagine a couple saying...

HONEY let's get a "chinese" for our date and get a quickie after that before we head out again... hehe.
^^

Garbage Truck law

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.

My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. I mean, he was really
friendly. So I asked, 'Hey, why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call: 'Law of the Garbage Truck'.

He said: "You know, many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage - full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it, so sometimes they'll dump it on you.."

His advice? "Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't pick up the garbage others are trying to get rid of. If you do, you'll take it with you and will end up dumping it on people around you, at work, at home, or on the streets." If you want to be happy, do not let garbage trucks - your own or other people's - overtake your day. Let go anything that's not positive. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.

And like I always say... "Kill with kindness" ^^
